operation sindooor

New Delhi: In one of the most daring and tactically ambitious counter-offensive operations, India used BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles to destroy Pakistani air bases in Round 2 of Sindoor Operation. The Indian Air Forces, with active support of other forces, are learnt to have struck 11 out of 12 Pakistani Air Bases spanning the length and breadth of the country and in the process also, crippled their Chinese supported Air Defence systems. According to sources quoted by ANI, approximately 15 BrahMos missiles were launched in precision attacks that targeted critical military infrastructure across Pakistan, effectively paralysing its air defence and strike capabilities. Besides BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles, the Indian armed forces are learnt to have used Scalp missiles fitted on the Rafale fighter jets during the operation.
